Mother's Mentor

How can I benefit from Mother’s Mentor sessions?Â
When you become a mum, life as you know it can be turned completely upside down – and that can take some getting used to.
It’s all too easy to feel like you’re losing your confidence and sense of identity – as if you’re drowning in the hectic currents of daily life. As a mother of two school-aged boys, I know that the challenges continue, whatever phase of motherhood we’re in. Whether you’re immersed in the intensity of days with a newborn, feeling the stresses of life with a toddler, or navigating school life as a parent, you don’t need to be at crisis point to feel the benefit from talking to someone.
My one-to-one sessions are designed around your needs; whether we meet over a cup of tea, a walk in the park, or on Zoom, you’ll feel calmer, more confident, and empowered. I’m an empathic and intuitive listener, and I draw on my background experiences and professional training to support you to find your balance and confidence in motherhood and in life. And I can help you make a plan to feel like yourself again.
What can I expect from a Mother’s Mentor support package?
Before our first session I’ll ask you to fill out a pre-appointment form, giving you the opportunity to tell me as much as you’d like about you and your circumstances and challenges. This document will be treated with total confidentiality. It’s designed to help us make the most of our time together – and to give me a jump-start on thinking about the strategies we’ll make together to meet your needs and individual situation.
Throughout our four sessions together I’ll provide you with a listening ear and a place to off-load your thoughts. If something matters to you – however large or small – then it matters to me too. We’ll talk about your current situation, and how you’d like it to change. Then if appropriate we will devise a step-by-step plan, based on the vision that you have for your life. We’ll change and update it as you move forwards. I’ll suggest individual resources, exercises and self-care strategies to help you regain your balance – and feel lighter.
What is included in the support package?
- 4x one-hour mentoring sessions, at a time to suit you
- Confidential and empathetic listening
- A written plan, changing and updating it as you move forwards, with a summary sent to you after each session
- Individual resources, exercises, and self-care strategies, specifically tailored for you
- Price of this package: £179
Additional packages and sessions can be booked to continue your support, this varies for everyone. prices depend on volume booked.
For some mums, it’s about needing practical and emotional support in order to make a plan and have a clear idea as to how to move forward. For others, it’s more about having someone to offload to: to feel validated or be given permission to act or feel a certain way. Changing the status quo can feel difficult – and I’m here to help you with that. Whatever you bring to these sessions we can work together in a relaxed and informal – but productive – way to help you start to feel better.
